Welcome to Meadowcroft Barn Bed & Breakfast

Meadowcroft is set on the edge of the West Pennine Moors, an area of approximately 90 square miles of moorland and reservoir scenery.

Hugely popular for many activities including, walking, sailing, horse riding and mountain biking. The Weavers Way is a long- distance 32 mile trail of discovery passing the cottage.

Along the way you will be exploring Lancashire's history passing weavers cottages, Tudor halls, historic villages and even Roman Roads. Part of the Roman Road runs through the field below the cottage.

Visit Meadowcroft and experience a region which has absolutely everything.

In the village enjoy the traditional Lancashire pubs, Holden's famous ice cream and the stunning rural landscape. Visit Turton Tower, evolved from a simple stone Pele tower built around 1420 to the impressive house it is to-day.

Visit the tea room at Turton Tower for a tempting choice of delicious lunches and scrumptious homemade cakes.

Choose to visit Blackpool (40 miles), the Lake District (70 miles), Liverpool (40 miles), Manchester (14 miles) and Southport (36 miles).
